It's SUMMER time in Vancouver, and it's getting HOT. What can I say, the first sign of heat is the sudden reduction in the layers, length and what not, of clothing you would find outside in public. Sometimes I feel awkward to be wearing normal regular clothes. No doubt, it's summer. And what's better than a trip to the beach. Three extremely bored roomies, looking for some hot action, headed to the beach. Sudheer, Waleed and me. It was late, we reached at 8PM, and it was beginning to get cooler, so there wasn't much "action" to be seen, but all the same, we enjoyed the time out. We ate in a Thai restaurant, I ordered "spicy", and the first bite nearly killed me. The food was excellent, and the other two took spoons of spicy gravy from my plate to liven up their dishes. At the end, I was craving for something sweet.
Earlier, I had gone to the Richmond Night Market. This is a summer special as well. It's more like one of the Expo type things in India. Lots of small shops, selling cheap stuff. This being in Richmond is flooded with Chinese goods. The fun part of the market is that there are so many people there.

So you would think that all my action seems to be in the night. Yes, I've gone back to my school and college routines, studying late into the night, and sleeping early in the morning through a good part of the day. I figured this was working better for me, than being a normal person. Ah hell, anything that works for now.
Also, for the onsen (hot spring communal bath) that I missed in Japan, I make up in the gym shower here. Yes, it's a communal shower where a dozen men can shower at a time, no doors, no partitions, nothing. Just get naked and get in, shower down the sweat, get out in the changing room, wipe yourself dry, and put on some clothes. The fact that somebody may be looking at you is not so gross, but you having to look at others ... thats gross. Where is this world going...
